So when Bernie Sanders and AOC call themselves Democratic Socialists, we shouldn't believe them? And when the Democrats declare their support of BLM, whose founders have openly stated that they are trained Marxists, we should ignore it?

Not all democrats are leftists. I'm certainly not one of them since I have also voted for republicans. I am so tired of the nonsense with Trump tweeting about everyone who dares to disagree with him. I really don't want another 4 years of his insecurities because someone said something negative about him so he has to whine about it daily. Just be a president and suck it up like all the others did. Hitting back and calling people names does not make for a strong president. It shows a major weakness in them. I have a long list of reasons why I would never vote for Trump but I will just focus on this year. We are in a global health pandemic with no national plan. Trump has never taken this pandemic seriously. Our country is hurting with no end in sight. In our lifetime we have never seen this kind of health pandemic in our country because our presidents took charge. He won't listen to the experts because he thinks he knows more than they do. He mocks Biden for wearing a mask. Who does that? Bush dealt with SARS. Obama dealt with H1N1, Zika and Ebola. Yes people died but these presidents had a plan to deal with it. Our country wasn't shut down like it is now because we had leadership.

I've never voted blue in my life (I'm pushing 47) but at least back in the day I could at least agree with some of the things the democratic party was putting out. Trump should have shut our country down in the very beginning. Sure, he stopped travel from China. But Europeans were also infected and came to NY. That's why they got hit hard. But the fact is the virus was already here last year. Trump should be an advocate for wearing masks instead of mocking those who wear them such as Biden. States are not equipped to deal with this kind of pandemic. We need a national plan.

Yes, because our nation's leadership dropped the ball and ignored all warnings until it was too late and we didn't even have enough for our medical professionals. At the time we didn't know as much about transmission and the effectiveness of masks so erring on the side of caution, the CDC's recommendation was that what few masks we had be used to reduce the chance that the only people in a position to treat the infected should have priority access to masks.

We don't have to accept that from elected officials WHO WORK FOR US in a republic.
The man dishonors his oath of office, of course people would resist that. That he defends himself from scrutiny and criticism is to be expected, people always do and criminals are no exception.
To be clear, we have had poor leadership before, these people are only human after all, so we grin and bear it. But we haven't seen this sort of criminal intent since Nixon and this level of corruption ever, even under Grant's infamous administration. We haven't seen this level of neglect and malfeasance since Hoover.
Trump's raping of our country is like a perfect storm, naturally people will resist. That is why so many lifelong conservatives oppose Trump today, one does not have to be a liberal to see it.
