Yes, Obama and Biden had a playbook which they gave Trump when he became president. We have know for years that another pandemic would hit us. This is what leaders do. They prepare for the future of our country and give the next president their insight. Trump ignored all of it. We could have very well be back to normal if we had a national plan from the beginning.

He claimed over and over and over again that he was doing such a great job, and now we have 189,000 deaths in seven months and rising ...

Trump owns it now. It IS the Trump virus.
I heard Democrats and others say the same thing

Apparently they didn’t bother to warn Italy and the rest of Europe

These pandemics didn't originate in our country. I'm pretty sure every country has their own plan how to deal with a pandemic though.

Still no plan as of today.
Right after they figure out how to turn off double-ya Bush's weather machine.

And you would be correct!

Everyone in the World knows how terrible Trump’s response to virus was, and still is. Every time he’s confronted about the virus, he resorts to blaming others and name calling like a child would. Attempting to change the subject because he could never take responsibility for things he’s done wrong, like a spoiled child. Oh yeah, Trump was a spoiled child who would have nothing if it wasn’t for his father.

On a scale from 1-10, how would you rate your response to the virus?

Trump - “10, we’ve done an amazing job”.

Child please.

For those of you blaming Trump for Covid deaths in our country, what are some specific things he should have done differently? (Keep in mind the authority each state's governor has.)

I guess I just don't see any way around Covid spreading and killing, unless everyone had stayed in their houses from early 2020 until now and beyond, and unless no one was allowed to leave or enter the country. I mean, sure, social distancing helps, but it's not perfect protection. Even if we had gotten rid of 99.99% of the virus, once people started living their lives again, it would have ramped right back up. This whole pandemic started with ONE person. So even if coronavirus was wiped out in all but ONE person in the US, it could spread like wildfire all over again (because long term immunity may not occur.)

How could any president stop this? I still don't see any way this thing is going to be stopped (other than vaccine possibly).
