Let me explain it to you trump haters and BLM racist fools... "the law says that if someone gets killed while a person is committing a crime (shooting at the police IS a crime) that the person committing the crime will be charged with their death" The boyfriend shot at the police first and the police did not commit a crime by shooting back...end of story....ps stop crying !
Cops did nothing wrong regarding Brionna Taylor but they have a weapons charge against them for bullets that entered someone else's apartment. Makes sense to me, time to move on.
Tough break Brionna, you shoulda been more careful about who you were living with.
No, that's not why the police had a search warrant. They were looking for Breonna Taylor's ex-boyfriend, and had the wrong address - sloppy work. In addition, the drug-dealing ex had already been arrested and was in jail, which the invading officers/detectives apparently did not know. Some "detectives"...shameful.
I have never seen any mention of there being drugs and money stashed in Breonna Taylor's apartment - can you cite your source for this claim? Thanks.
If it were common to subject people to such atrocities on the basis of their past experiences and choices ("she had been"), we'd all be at risk, as it's next to impossible to live one's life without encountering unsavory people who misrepresent themselves as good guys. Breonna Taylor had broken up with the bad-news boyfriend and had moved on. It's shameful that the police attack on her home was based on incorrect information, and that her resulting death is being brushed off like this.
I am an older white Kentuckian and a Louisville native. My poor state - commonwealth, rather - deserves far better than this sort of blatant, trickle-down corruption on the part of many of its elected officials and those who are sworn to defend the law and the people. Shameful.

Incorrect. The Courier-Journal has obtained copies of the search warrants (5 total related to this narcotics case) and has the accurate information. It's behind a paywall.

I think most people understand the complicating factor is the fact that there is no way of knowing who is trying to kick in the door, - cop or crook. That is the problem with no-knock approach. Lot of gun owners would fire through the door if there is someone on the other side trying to force their way in.
You would think the victims parents would be satisfied after getting $12 million, but it seems they are very upset.

You haven't read anything at all about this case and are using the liberal media talking points. There are 40 pages of the entire investigation proving she wasn't a current EMT - lost that job in 2016 and that connects her to the operation. In fact when the boyfriend was in jail - the druggies blamed him for her death as she was their best "Cash Chick". Try researching and quit using lib talking points from the media.
She was a black woman that was shot by Police by mistake when they forced their way into her apartment to arrest her boyfriend that used his gun to shoot back at the cops. The cops returned fire at the boyfriend and she was shot and killed.
There will no doubt be riots tonight because a ruling has been made that the cop will be charged with wanton endangerment and not murder.
Her name is all over the internet just type it in.
What really bothers most observers is that a child, a baby can be murdered on the streets of Chicago by a stray bullet fired by a gang banger and no one cares. BLM will say "it happens" but when a cop accidentley shoots a black person the city will burn.
Why do most know the name Breonna Taylor but no one cares about Dajore Wilson. She was 8 and murdered by a stray bullet in Chicago September 8th.
The vice president said he told his wife the same thing: “I said, ‘Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, put that double-barrel shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house.’
“I promise you whoever’s coming in is not gonna,” Biden said, adding later that he had two shotguns at home and wouldn’t dream of giving them up
