Did the boyfriend go to jail? Has he been convicted? I don't think he will be if he had reasonable belief that the home was being invaded.

But, the police ALSO had reason to believe they were being shot at. In fact, they WERE being shot at.

Again: This is a botched, knock-and-announce raid that went south because the police and Taylor's BF did not hear each other.

This was a TRAGEDY and an ACCIDENT, basically, with MISTAKES made by the police and Taylor's boyfriend.

It is not evidence of racism - systemic or otherwise. This house was among many that were raided at around the same time.

So many lies out there. Here are facts:

Warrant was for the right apartment.
Taylor's rental car had a dead body in the trunk.
Taylor bailed her drug dealing boyfriend out twice and visited him dozens of times in jail.
The drug dealing boyfriend said she handled the cash for him.
She was frequently seen at drop houses and he was seen taking packages from her apartment.
Police believed she was heavily involved in his drug deals.
The boyfriend in her apartment fired first and originally claimed that Taylor fired the weapon.

Police say they knocked loudly while the boyfriend says they didn't.

The ONLY thing that should be in question was whether they used proper procedure and whether they properly identified themselves. But the media is spreading a bunch of lies trying to make this bad news woman look like a saint.
The fact that the police announced was confirmed by an independent witness who lived nearby. All of the facts show that the officers should have never been charged, they were only to appease the protesters and show everything was on the up and up. The rioters were not concerned with fasts, thy just wanted total destruction. If al three officers would have been convicted and sentenced to death the riots would have still proceed as planned, it was never about justice.
The police have numerous emails, texts, and phone calls proving that the female was deeply involved with drug trafficking.

3 things:

- Was it "POLICE!" (not even a second later *CRASH*?

- It was 2AM, wth are the police doing here?

- It's a home invasion under the guise of police

No-knock raids are a setup, and this is the proof.
It actually wasn't a no-knock raid. They had a no-knock warrant, but the evidence shows that they did, in fact, knock and announce themselves as police. Now, I am interested in knowing how long they waited to enter after announcing themselves as police, but it definitely wasn't a no-knock raid.

The facts don't show that the officers should never have been charged. The grand jury charged one of them, based on the facts. Some of their shots went into neighboring apartments, and that is dangerous and reckless.

and to your three points:

Wrong No they made attempts to get he residents to answer the door with zero cooperation

Wrong Police work 24/7, the ideal time to serve a warrant is when the bad guys are asleep

Wrong. They had a warrant signed by a judge, they were perfectly within their rights
Why do you persist in sticking up for bad people?

If he's demonstrated to be guilty, I hope they throw him under the prison.

A complete five moth investigation proved the cops did everything right. A token minor charge to quite the rioters.
The left loves criminals..

A valid charge that will support the lawsuit of the neighbors against the city.

$12 million to Taylor's family.

??? to Taylor's boyfriend.

??? to Taylor's neighbors.

The police department did not do the bang-up job you are claiming. It was botched badly. And the city pays. I hope the police learn from this, and improve.
