GOP here. Will be going to the ballots on election day to vote. Somethings (like defeating socialist candidates) are worth dying over.

That's odd. I never wait in line for hours to vote. I'm in and out within 20 minutes and this has been the case for me everywhere I have lived in the country. I am able to go shopping for groceries, go to the doctor and dentist among many other people and not die. I would assume those people have to shop for groceries and go to the doctor and dentist, as well. How come they don't die doing that, but you fear they will die voting in person? Even Dr Fauci himself said voting is safe for people to do. You know, wear a mask and wash your hands afterwards or better yet, wear gloves. All the things people have been saying work.

We can wait.
This is Constitution and Electoral Law 101.
The ONLY Votes counted in a Presidential Election ( by Federal Law) are Votes on or before Election Day. Those Votes have to follow State Law.

There is no Federal Law and no State Law that makes the US Postal responsible for Counting Votes OR for making sure that Voters request, accurately fill out their Ballot OR Mail it on time.

The US Post Office has informed States that have cobbled together Election Law that will not work.
For instance... 10 States allows a ballot request the day before Election. No way it can be mailed to the Voter, filled out and returned in 24 hours. THAT is the Crazy stuff these Leftists are attempting to do.

From the Wall Street Journal (paywall)

“The simple fact is that mass mail voting introduces slack into the election system. Unrealistic deadlines are one problem. For an election held on Nov. 3, voters in 10 states can request an absentee ballot on Nov. 2, according to a report last week by the U.S. Postal Service’s inspector general. During this year’s primary season, the audit says, more than a million ballots were sent to voters in the seven days before an election, placing them “at high risk†of tardiness.â€

These States that have ridiculous & unworkable State Laws have time to get this stuff corrected.
Their choice.

What they are saying is that they can't guarantee the ballots will be delivered in time to be counted.

My mail-in ballot instructions said I can mail it on November 3rd. I don't see how that's going to work. The ballot must be received in 7 days of the election. With all that mail, there is a huge risk that many won't be counted. Even if they all arrive, I'm not sure how state will accurate count them before the deadlines.

LOL

So why not call it "absentee ballot voting?"

Because the Democrats and the left, and their controlled mainstream media is deliberately labeling it "mail in voting" so tons of ballots can be "delayed" by USPS, and suddenly "found by the millions" for Biden, a few days after Trump wins.

The Democrats and the left are NOT interested in voting accountability--being able to be record or trace a vote.

Why are Democrats so adamantly opposed to a voter ID card?

Because if you implement a voter ID card, that eliminates the Democrat's ability to cheat with having dead people vote, illegal immigrants vote, under age vote, and on and on.

But you know that, don't you.

I wonder how many bag fulls of ballots will be found in mail trucks, backrooms, and alleys (and trusty woods) once the ballot counting has commenced, and how many will be rejected. It will happen, as predictable as the sunrise. This is going to be a fiasco.

I could support voting in person if there were plenty of polling places.

What's was that town in Kentucky that had 1 polling place of 600,000 voters?

Counties could put in drop off places for one to deposit their write in ballot.

Don't worry America, all of the votes that matter will be counted.
