I watched the video. It wasn't a couple of girls nonchalantly grabbing a hat and running. These dirty, filthy savages deserve jail time. I bet this wasn't the first time these 2 pulled something of this nature.
Everyone that physically assaults another because of politics should get a long sentence. That they attacked a seven year old over a damn hat should earn them no less than 10 years.
WTH is wrong with people that they can not look the other way when someone wears or says something with they disagree? It's easy. I do it all the time. I just think to myself, "Dumbass," and carry on. I guess that's what being mature means.
I'm not sure those 2 can earn more than the cost of prison in a year, so I'd say 1 year in your general population and they'd be cured of their inanity.
And if that didn't? Then it should be 1 yr active, 5 years suspended for 10 years so that if they just can't grow up, then it will wake them up.
I think 1 year in genpop with the "real" criminals that have nothing to lose would cure 99% of otherwise law-abiding people of their stupidity.

That was actually a good tactic (ignoring the risk to the child) since society assumes you cannot attack a woman back, imagine the immediate backlash if they hurt that child in any way.
The blond girl actually punched one of the guys right in the jaw, but he had to back away or be seen as an aggressor.. I see women being used in these demonstrations as untouchable aggressors.
They want the hat? Give them each a MAGA hat and have them wear it while they pick up trash along the busiest street in the city for eight hours per day between now and the election. Lock 'em up when not picking up trash.
Funny, I don't hear any claims about an overreaching/vindictive/politicking DA here, like we did in say, the McCloskey kerfuffle. That's odd.
Now what these two morons did was inexcusable, but 3 felonies and a hate crime? Seems silly. Fines/community service/probation would be appropriate, IMO. Maybe a mandatory apology to the child and the family?
It’s a hate crime and they assaulted a person, these girls need a good lesson, I don’t know about 15 years but a little time will be good for them and I like suzy-qs maga hat trash pickup gig and/or a fine.
However, a lone woman with a child is vulnerable, the mother should have retreated, she placed her child in harms way.
