There are all types of contingencies built in. We have had contingent elections before. In 1800/1801, in 1824/1825 and 1836/1837. The process has changed a bit with Amendments. It took 36 ballots for the House to select Jefferson over Burr.

What policies of the Biden/Harris campaign do you support?

Hopefully you live in a non-consequential state, and your vote won't matter. All these old "Never Trumper" and ancient GOP-ers need to go the way of the dinosaurs.

Without Trump the Republican party would have died in 2016 with some uninspiring milquetoast skeeze like Jeb Bush at the helm.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but you have no say on who I vote for. And my vote doesn't make me any less of a conservative.

Yes, because no one ever votes opposite their party.

At this point in time I would stand by Trump until this fiasco is straightened out.

Hey all you vote by mail people - here's the latest video from CNN:

Conservatives don't vote for neo-liberals who want to raise taxes, institute racialist policies into the schools and government and who want to go back to a policy of foreign policy internationalism. Conservatives don't vote for people who vow to raise taxes to redistribute wealth and who want to deepen our reliance and ties to China economically.

I don't care what you "identify as," ZIR. You're the political equivalent of a transvestite. All dress-up. The genetic makeup doesn't match the dressing.

Trump's presidential powers end the instant the Chief Justice of the USA swears in his successor. He is no longer president even if he refuses to leave the white house. The Secret Service would step aside while Trump's belongings were removed.

The big question is what he might do between November 3rd and January 20th. The guy has no moral or ethical bearings and he might try some crazy stuff. The republic means nothing to him.

There is no end to the mayhem this guy could cause in that short time span if he is determined not to leave, but he will ultimately not succeed.

Sorry to break it to you but, she did not. As a matter of fact she never even appeared in public until the next day. She also waited until then to call Trump.
