Exactly. First it was until we flatten the curve (so as not to overwhelm hospitals). Then it was getting widespread testing with low positivity rates. Then it’s until we have a vaccine. And next it will be until we have a vaccine that is 95% effective.

She is following the science until so what's the problem. Although Michigan has one of the lower infection rates still best to be cautious especially with schools opening.

People need to stop speculating on the vaccine it serves no purpose.

So....... This "story" is incorrect. "We'll continue to follow the science..." isn't nearly so click-worthy, though, I suppose.
Her "science", which she has still not made public in any capacity, is highly questionable. Example: imposing further restrictions in northern MI, which has very low case counts, while reopening the Detroit casinos.

Bingo. Unfortunately, so much science is political today. I dare say the vast majority in one way or another is.

ost of the extended and renewed lockdowns here and abroad are simply governments refusing to admit to a completely sunk cost, so they are doubling down on more sunk costs. If you're led by these people, you need to vote them out of office. They're cowards, not leaders.
