In light of Leftist riots that have proceeded for months, the Proud Boys rhetoric would be disturbing if it weren't so obviously bottom-barrel desperate.

However, it could (and perhaps should) be more disturbing for the smarter Left.

The smarter Left will see history through a wider lens.

What that wider lens is trained on is hundreds of years of Leftist Revolution throughout the West, whose modern governments are often essentially revolutionary (the UK, France, and the US to start - though many in the Left defer to the memory and principles of the more radical Soviet Union as their guiding light). Even the liberation of Germany from the Nazis was a type of revolution.

The broader revolutionary ideals have permeated even where revolutions haven't. It is these same revolutionary cultural echoes that the now-authoritarian left dislikes when it tries to get society wide compliance for whatever its next cultural target is (belief in gender fludity, COVID masks forever, etc).

Why obvious lies in regard to the current situation should disturb the smarter Left, is because the Left's history-wide reputation and credibility is on the line.

If the Left and its Press are (obviously) lying about what is actually happening on the ground now, then what credibility do they have in regard to their historical narratives?

Maybe Louis XVI and his predecessors weren't such demons. As indicated by the popular strength of the counter-Revolutionary pushback, perhaps the French Revolution was facilitated by the Press and based on the same type of lies that we have been long witnessing coming from our modern Press.

The pattern of the Press's modern lies suggest the need for a serious re-evaluation of their possible historical role in facilitating, and even kindling, revolution of all kinds and via the same method.

this being such a regular occurrence, how about you show a few examples?

No shaving their heads or wearing sheets or nazi memorabilia. Same thing in other countries. Daughter of Le Penn cleaned up image of her father's French nationalist party too. The traditional fascist imagery of people goose stepping around wasnt widely appealing. But blaming all economic problems on foreigners or minority religions has lot more appeal.

Yep, we have a Proud Boy President in office. He surrounds himself with same racists that he identifies with. Dog whistles galore. That boy is so old he cant even shuffle up and down a small ramp so dont expect him to goose step down the boulevard. But he would if he could though he is a coward and avoided the draft. Hey at least Hitler fought as a corporal in WWI for the Kaiser.
I am proud to be an American . I'm proud of my country. I guess I'm one of those proud boys and proud of it . Does that make me racist?

CHRIS WALLACE: You have repeatedly criticized the vice president for not specifically calling out Antifa and other left wing extremist groups. But are you willing tonight to condemn white supremacists and militia group and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities as we saw in Kenosha and as we've seen in Portland.

Does that help to clear up some of your confusion?

And the crap part is, he didn't ask Joe Biden to ask BLM and AntiFa adherents to "stand down."

As if Trump controls Proud Boys!!

How can they be racist when their FL Chairman is half Black, half Cuban?

Enrique Tarrio, Chair of the FL Proud Boys:
