I would respect the NBA more if the message on the court was “Stop fighting with police and comply with lawful orders”.
Statistics show that blacks are 8 to 10 times more likely to resist arrests than whites.

In liberal San Francisco, black people make up 6% of the population, but 45% of the resisting arrests.

In San Diego "the data shows blacks are 10 times more likely than whites to be arrested for resisting, delaying, or obstructing a police officer."

To liberals that preach no self-accountability it is all the police's fault why blacks resist arrest more.

Resisting arrests often leads to bad outcomes.

Asians are the least likely to resist arrest and have the best outcomes when getting arrested. Is this a coincidence?

The jealousy is thick in this thread.

The check still clears for these athletes whether you watch them or not.

Sports has nothing to do with politics... If we wanted to know your politics we would ask you... If not, please shut up.. if you choose not to shut up, then don't mind if I turn you off.... Enough people turn it off, you don't get a paycheck... And every black athlete in the future will now be poor and unemployed... Congrats... Nothing last forever, not even sports... If you choose to kill it sooner, be my guest...

#1 Show me how anything I said was jealous. Can you do it?

#2 "If" TV ratings continue to stay down and other sales continue to stay down, will those checks that the athletes cash in be bigger, the same, or smaller? If only Albert Einstein was here to help with this complex question.

Hey, Milton Friedman, what happens if a lot of people decide not to watch them?

The check may still clear, but it will be a very different check.

I, for one, am a sports lover, and I will continue to separate the politic from the product.

Folk on the progressive side can't buy Goya, because of its CEO. This, despite the Goya product being sold throughout working class neighborhoods and its supermarkets......hoods and markets other companies didn't, and some still don't, want to venture!

Folk on the conservative side don't want to see BLACK LIVES MATTER on an NBA court. This, despite the fact that the playoffs have been very good, and the NBA is the perfect model for how to run during a post pandemic; not one positive covid test, so far!

Both these stances by both sides should be reconsidered!

Stop projecting jealous boy. It is getting old and is quite pathetic.

These athletes couldn't just shut up and make millions to chase a ball? How hard is it?
