It's the draconian response to Covid. Countries are micro-managing human movement. I saw a video from Australia of helicopters breaking up a three person gathering on a roof top! What on earth?? It's just basic psychology. If they come down hard on normal pro-social human interaction, it will cause civil unrest in one form or another, like riots in the US. Or people flooding the streets in protest for...whatever...like in many cities.
Perhaps the West was mistaken in copying the Covid strategy of a brutal dictatorship, the CCP?
The Tea Party was demonized and yet they left the parks cleaner than when they arrived, never hurt anyone, never destroyed property, and were very civil.
This is very typical of conservative protests.
Yet liberal protests in the year 2020 combined have literally done more damage than the typical hurricane hitting the US and the media has largely treated them with baby gloves until it started to help Trump.

This is a curious thing for Canadians to do --- perhaps they appreciate that he's a racist? Is racism a problem in Canada? Thought Trump was against NAFTA and was going to punish Canada? Do the Canadians like that? I refuse to let a protest group represent an entire nation----in the same way the protesters in our streets are fringe and don't represent normal folks in the USA. Thought Canadians were more advanced in their beliefs/thinking....more environmentally conscious. Do they realize Trump is trashing the earth, doesn't believe in science based facts regarding climate change?
I seriously doubt they would want to be part of the US and take all our chaos.
