I work in Seattle and used to take a bus that dropped me at Westlake Park, the. Walked a mile to the office. Whenever I heard of a protest planned, I would drive and avoid that area. Now with protests so often, I’m working from home so it doesn’t matter. The scariest time for me was when I worked in downtown Oakland, CA and left work right after the “Rodney King” verdict. As I approached the signal light before my freeway on-ramp, it turned yellow, and out my window to the left on the cross street were hundreds of loud protesters. I stepped on it, ran the red light and just made it. On the news later I found out they had turned over parked cars and kicked dents in occupied cars, and snarled traffics for hours.
Don't let 5 minutes change your life. Best give them what they want (a raised fist and a knee) and hope they move on. There is no reasoning with an angry mob.wvwn if you have a gun, you can not stand your ground without becoming a viral outrage
