Really? I wouldn't put it past the scientists or China, if we're being honest. Remember that the CCP fuels a lot of money into universities and industry laboratories. There was a Harvard Chemistry professor who was busted for taking Chinese donations earlier this year if I recall.
Science as an unbiased discipline is truly dead. Anything that is not woke or pro-CCP doesn't get investigated.
Well it is, damage been done already and it can't be undone. So, yeah that's were it came from, so do we go to war with China. Our relationship is already pretty bad with them right now, and you can really never prove it, China will deny it over and over. And if is true, it's still of little consolation to all the people who have suffered and died, and all the people who have lost their jobs, and lives destroyed. How knowing that is going to console them.
Trade sanctions or a trade war. Cut them off from the industrialized world. Force them back to the world of a bowl of rice a day and rickshaws. They had their chance at the big boys table and if this is how they repay it. Then they deserve the worlds wrath. If this could be proven.
Now I have read news stories where Americans scientists have claimed they have studied Covid-19 and they are certain it did not come from a lab. So who knows. One Chinese scientist claiming this does not make it a fact.
While we appreciate that Twitter may have experienced pressure from either China, or the established scientist community, to silence Dr Yan for proposing a theory that flies in the face of everything that has been accepted as undisputed gospel - after all Twitter did just that to us - we are confident that by suspending her account, Jack Dorsey has only added more fuel to the fire of speculations that the covid virus was indeed manmade (not to mention countless other tangential conspiracy theories).
If Yan was wrong, why not just let other scientists respond in the open to the all too valid arguments presented in Dr. Yan's paper? Isn't that what "science" is all about? Why just shut her up?
I think it was a wrong tactic to shut her up, they created a Streisand effect.

Wuhan is a level 4 biosafety lab. There are only a few in the US as qualified. SARS escaped from a Beijing lab which was only level 2.
The original theory was that the virus came from horseshoe bats in caves in Southern China where the SARS virus originated. She is claiming they were found in bats on Zhoushan Island near Wuhan. In either case, there are competing theories for it being naturally evolving and altered in a lab. She is claiming that the best theory is that it was man-altered and intentionally released. She claims it's not a SARS virus which has been shown to be the predecessor of the virus.
Lab-altered is still a viable theory since labs in both the US and China were doing similar gain-in-function research on the coronavirus.

Definitely came from the lab. There are no bats around Wuhan except one place, the lab. There is no other plausible story. Not sure how she could prove it was intentionally spread , and the other problem is the public is in no position to know who is telling the truth,
Yes, she basically said she has genetic evidence it was made in a lab and she also claims that the Chinese Communist party intentionally released the virus, although she didn't specify what evidence she has for that.
All I can say is, I hope her whole family escaped from China because if not somebody's going to get sent to the labor camps with the Uighurs.
She not only has to fear China...but also the US too!! ( if this is true, our leaders are complicit in this).
I hope she is taking precautions to stay safe.
Can you imagine what would happen to the global economy if she did release proof that Covid was intentional?!!! That would basically force the US to attack China, and then it would be illegal for any business in the US to sell anything made in China!
(This would destroy the global economy in under a weeks time)
