Here is an idea. Democrats should vote for Trump because democrats are threatening to riot if they loose.

if you love your country you have to force these monsters to stand down

There are two types of riots, ones inside the safe space and ones outside the safe space.

BLM, ANTIFA, Dems have not wandered outside the safe space yet.

About sums it up.

That's exactly the intention behind the DNC terrorists, they think they can intimidate people into voting for Harris waging war against the country with threats of more war against the country unless the people bow before them.

We'll see if it works.

You know, a few weeks ago I had never even heard of The Atlantic.......

Now, suddenly after coming out with BS unsubstantiated claims based on anonymous sources, they're some type of relevant authority?

And the excuse that Dems can't control themselves is ridiculous.

Start imprisoning rioters who commit acts of violence.

Too many getting away with it or getting misdemeanor pleas.

Note I understand the difference between protest and riot, but if you throw a brick through a window and that leads to looting, you deserve your felony record and a modest prison term. (See Eric Clanton for example of pro left bias)

Lol, Democrats still haven’t conceded to this day.

One of the dumbest suggestion from a tabloid news agency.

2016 there were riots, google something like,

riots after trump 2016

Now in 2020 add the following factors,
-4 years of Trump's Presidency where the media and celebrities have furthered pushed against him
-BLM riots, which don't seem to be slowing down in the long term
-Economic slowdown (might become more evident as November approaches)
-White House protest planned very soon, I believe by Antifa, Sept 17

The riots will be huge this time. I think we should all be concerned, this is how revolutions start. In historical movies they show it as a few scenes, but revolutions actually cook slowly, over many years. Did you know before the civil war of 1861, a decade before it started there were minor gun fights in Kansas? I bet you at the time some people denied it would end up in a war.

that's the easy answer. but democrat mayors and District atty's wont do that.

Police will do their jobs but the nasty dems wont follow the law.
time to arrest DAs who wont charge.
Time to arrest mayors who order police to stand down

So, the author of the opinion piece says that we should placate little Johnny who is the process of destroying his brother's model car collection in the hopes of preventing even more mayhem instead of giving him a firm "No, that is not okay!" and a time-out? (I would guess that this is what the parents of many of the rioters did.)

P.S. The New York Times was a very respectable publication that is now just a liberal mouthpiece. I sincerely hope that The Atlantic, which I have respected for years when it was The Atlantic Monthly, is not going the same direction.
