The big difference between the two fine ladies is that Marie was beheaded for not giving a damn about the populace. Crazy Nancy still has a head even though she promotes the outright enslavement of the populace via socialism (authoritarian collectivism).
Personally, I'd take Marie over Crazy Nancy any day. Marie may have told a serf like me to eat cake, but Crazy Nancy wishes to demote me from serf to outright slave to the government.
