Much of America's population growth is due to immigration.
I wonder why no one brings up the environment when talking about immigration issues?
Mass immigration into developed countries dramatically increases the carbon footprint of those countries, making our ability to solve climate change less likely.

Other issues include:

-Deforestation - cutting down forests to build more houses, shopping centers, schools, etc, for increasing population.
-Habitat destruction - less room for animals, more room for increasing population & immigrants.
-More pollution - an increasing population leads to more air & water pollution.

Americans in general are some of the worst polluters on the planet and Americans use more resources per person than almost any other country on the planet. Why are we importing tens of millions of foreigners into America so they can become top polluters & consumers as well? Why have no environmental groups or left or right politicians addressed this particular issue?

I've been bringing this point up for years.

The left will never answer it.

The choice should be obvious, Environment > Immigration.
Protecting our environment is far more important than a bunch of poor immigrants being able to play xbox and drink at Starbucks. People need to get their priorities straight.

The environment is not the only thing that will pay the price.

Taxpayers (who already raise the kids of the majority of immigrants from pre-natal to college) will be paying BIG TIME.

But, like progressives and Democrats want: Bring them allllll in. Bring every poor and destitute person who wants into the country. Import a million "refugees" from the worst parts of the world and dump them off in places like Maine and Minnesota. So enriching! So worth it! Set them up with free healthcare and housing assistance and food stamps. Let them in! Have you no heart?! The statue of liberty has a poem! That's how we should comport our immigration policy, dontchaknow?!

I couldn't agree more especially with uncontrolled illegal immigration whom are not net contributors to our country and big breeders. Here's a good site to read.

Why do Liberals reproduce? Total hypocrisy. In doing so they are multiplying their own carbon footprint.

Too bad liberals are so focused on wasting trillions of dollars on a scam like “global warming” while they ignore real environmental issues.
