FBI Director Chris Wray made clear that Antifa is not a made-up, right-wing conspiracy theory and that the FBI has cases involving those connected to it.
Wray's words were in response to Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., who claimed prominent Democrats have called Antifa a "fantasy." In July, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., had dismissed the idea of Antifa violence in Portland as "a myth that's being spread only in Washington, D.C."
Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday sent a to letter Nadler, the committee's chair, criticizing him for launching “fruitless partisan investigations” into President Trump while ignoring the threat of Antifa.
The letter called on Nadler to denounce “left-wing violent extremism” and convene a hearing to investigate the unrest engulfing a number of cities across the country.
I’m glad the FBI is investigating violent far left kooks as well as well as violent far right kooks. The FBI has issued warnings against extremists on both sides in recent weeks. This is a good sign, because neither extremist group is good.

Democrats are desperate for votes and don't want to turn off their base !!! They tried to rig the election in 2016 and failed !!! As they try to rig this 2020 election they don't want to put all their eggs in that basket this time !!! They plan to take advantage of everything ANTIFA has to offer !!!

The Democratic party isn't going to "call out" their paramilitary wing, any more than the National Socials of the 1930s were willing to call out the "brownshirts". They at least think that these domestic terrorists are helping them gain political power in this nation. As long as they see them as useful, they will never condemn them; rather they will continue to finance and support them.
