She should have retired about ten years ago because of age and health. Now will be a hardcore battle holding up confirmation of a new judge in the hopes of Trump losing the election and the next judge being selected by Biden and confirmed by Pelosi. If Trump wins re-election then Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress will fight hard against anyone Trump nominates.
If Trump wins the election though, then clearly he would have the undisputed right to name the replacement.

Pelosi has no say over judges. Only the Senate gets a voice.
What hypocrite? The "McConnell Rule" only applies if the Senate is of a different party than the President. It does not apply here. Time to fill the seat.
Ok then then the Dems will add seats there is no where in the constitution that says they can't. It will open the floodgates.
The Dems aren't gonna let Mitch get away with his corrupt hypocrisy this time. if you thought the kavanaugh hearings were polarized those Senators who are in blue or purple states Collins, Gardner, and others are gonna need to think long and hard.
Trump can't NOT replace her. The base won't let him punt - I know I won't.
Be careful what you wish for. The women vote is already galvanized, Trump replacing Ruth will further galvanize that vote...both sides actually but I dont see this as a positive for Trump.
