Exactly, it'll mean that even if Trump loses the presidential election a Harris administration would only be able to do so much damage. A super majority of conservative justices would keep them in check. It'll mean the far left agenda is officially dead for at least a decade most likely.

You can call her a hypocrite (of course, she wasn't in office then, so you really can't), but it's clear what she was talking about.

The voters picked Trump, who is our pres now and has a duty to nominate a SCOTUS justice.
It would be a detriment to our country, whether you are dem or repub to risk a 4-4 vote over election issues which are guaranteed. It would cause a Constitutional crisis. No side can think that would be good for the country.

Correct. And a President Biden and a Democratic Senate in 2021 have the absolute right to add 2 or 4 more new justices if they want to. Two can play hardball.

Lol... You Democrats are delusional.... Let me outline it for you puny brains... Trump nominates... It's schedule to vote AFTER the election to energize voters and Evangelicals to go vote during election time... If Collins or Murkowski doesn't get reelected, they will DEFINITELY vote for the candidate before getting kicked out next year... If they do get reelected, then who knows but the candidate will still get enough votes... And then it's over... It will be an issue to drive Republicans and religious people to the polls... And wait till you see the ads... Trump increased Black American support, he has increased Latino American support... He has increased Democrat support... It's over before it even started and once Biden goes to debate and give deer in headlights looks, that's just cherry on top... Better if he gets incontinent but he has actual diapers for that...

No it wasn't. Obama had the right, and he exercised it by nominating Merrick Garland. The president nominates; he does not automatically get to have his nomination approved. The Senate chose not to exercise its right of consent at that time.

Murkowski is not up until 2022. However, President Trump has publicly announced that he will fly to Alaska to campaign against her in the primary at that time.

They could try that, but it wouldn't be allowed.....and if it was, Republicans would just add 5 or 6 more when they were in power again and you'd basically destroy the entire system simply because you decided to change the rules when you lost.
