The Democrats are used to LOSING and being bitter and lately, threatening the entire population if they don't get what they want.

Biden is who they put forth as a "moderate" because all their other candidates were too far left to win.

In reality, he's an empty vessel.......

Just what you need for a Trojan Horse.

Black Americans have been pointing to the 1994 Crime Bill as example of systemic racism for decades.

So Democrats nominated the guy who wrote and sponsored the bill.

Biden did poor in initial primary voting. He finished as low as 4th place early. Then for some strange reason almost everyone dropped out just before super Tuesday. Many of those that dropped out endorsed Joe. Liz Warren hung around and that hurt Bernie Sanders. You have to wonder what was said to Pete and Amy to quite before ST.

Both parties are equally as flawed. As an independent I see our democratic system in trouble & Trump as an aberration of conservatism.
Dems should not believe it can't happen to their party as well.

All the democrats needed to do was nominate a candidate like Bill Clinton, or Barack Obama - a guy who could win in more places than the left coast and northeast - and you would be fine.

Instead they nominate Hillary, under the slogan "It's her turn!".

And now then nominate a guy who should be retiring - I don't want to be mean here but his mental decline has been on display for all to see.

My point it, it's not the electoral college (the "rules of the game") that's your problem. It's your lousy candidates.

Sanders consolidated the progressive vote; him winning the nomination because numerous centrists with similar platforms split support wouldn't have yielded a candidate that reflected the values of the majority of democrats voting in the primaries. Pete was a long shot and Amy was wildly uninspiring. Bernie also had worst shot at beating Trump. Not much of a mystery here.

The weird way the EC works is to not allow CA and NY to decide every election.

Feel free to try to get fly-over states to agree to eliminate the EC.

The problem is that the party is so divided. There is no agreement to what direction the party is going to take on anything. They had 4 years to sort it out, and arrive empty handed yet again.
