I'm guessing you didn't watch the video. Just because some partisan individual depicts events in a certain way doesn't make it true.

That is so funny. The reality is that you can't win a political race with just people who think things through. You need the emotionally charged ones on your side as well.

There is a LOT of responsibility on my part, primarily to my family. I also want to be a responsible citizen and participate in democracy by voting. I should be able to have both things; you should want my vote to count, just as I want yours. If the best way to get my vote is to make the timing of voting a little more flexible, what are you or the candidates losing exactly?

That’s a poor reason to allow people to vote months before the full campaign has run - including the debates. It is unfair to the candidates, and to those of us who believe voters should make decisions on all available information.
The compromise is letting early voters change their vote at the end; that handles the scenario where new information comes out that changes their mind. That seems better than risking some voters not participating at all that otherwise might have.

I read this:

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/19/u...-virginia.html

It says reports that they blocked the entrances were wrong. I don't see where they did anything wrong, just annoying. It really doesn't make sense that they would block the entrance. It's not as if they know who people are voting for. Let's not take the bait like the Trump loyalists are and believe an alternate reality.

Particularly in-person voting.
I thought that’s what Trump wants.

Anyway, harassing people at polling places is not a good look for his supporters.
But I expect we’ll see more of it in the coming weeks.

Absolutely.

Seems like Trump’s supporters may have lost a bit of faith in VA.

Trying to intimidate / harass Biden voters. They even blocked the entrance to the polling place. They might succeed in scaring away some voters, especially the elderly, but I think most will just endure it knowing protesting & rioting is the new normal in Donald Trump's America.

I don't think this was as ominous as it was presented. People saying "Biden" to them lead to the "four more years" chanting. It's one of those things unless you were there you don't know how it went down.
