It goes like this: if I’m pulled over by a cop, and he says to me “get out of the car,” and I say “why,” and he responds by killing me instead of telling me why and says that he feared for his life because I didn’t immediately comply, you and the rest of your Republican cohorts will support the cop.
And that’s why we’re having this unrest and will continue to have it until the issue becomes a non issue.
I don’t have to become a bootlicker just because you say I do.
An unrealistic scenario, first of all when a cop asks to to step out of the car, you don't say Why, you say yes sir. No cop is going to shoot you for refusing to get out of the car. His actions are dictated solely by you, if you try hard enough, like some do, it may well result in your death, it's up to you.
Your "Bootlicker" theory is exactly what i was talkjing about when I said many blacks at taught from the cradle to resist authority. YOu aren't required to be boot licker, just comply with any and all requests. If yo are in the right and the cop is in the wrong, it will all come out in court. All that is accomplished by acting like an a$$ is it makes life more difficult than necessary for both parties. Acting macho will get you nowhere, you will never win by copping an attitude.
Wouldn't naming their most dangerous intersection after him satisfy practically everyone as they take the ambiguous concept and apply it to their personal bias?
If George Floyd were white, the white community would have not given it a second look. They would condemn the cop for his actions and say the bad got got what he deserved. It would have ll blown over by the evening.

As the sister of two deceased junkies, I disagree. Their decisions caused massive grief to their family members. It's NEVER just "their decision".
I lost a cousin who died three blocks from his mother's house. He was the smartest most talented person I have ever known but chemicals brought him down. Family members are indeed involved.

The Criminal is the guy with his knee on the neck of a human with no pulse. The guy trained to help people and save lives? If there was a suspected drug over-dose would the correct response be to hold the subject down by the neck until even minutes after they have no pulse? Is that in the First Aide training many of you experts have?
There is no footage of Floyd resisting arrest, that’s only suggested in the pack of cover-up lies that was the initial police report. There is only footage of him resisting death. On the ground, then with no pulse. Too bad there were witnesses and cameras everywhere, or this would have ended as all of the other charges of excessive force and police brutality this guy racked up over the years.
If only Chauvin could be convicted of murder before Cheeto leaves office, he could maybe pardon him.

Perhaps Always Right Even When Wrong Old Fat White Man Way would be a better renaming. White Supremest Street? Corner of Chauvin and Cheeto? No Pulse Blvd? Would that satisfy everyone who thinks a guy should be killed because afterwards an arrest record is discovered and after death it’s shown he had drugs in his system? Neither of which were known at the time? Someone said something about a guy with a fake $20 bill so the correct response is draw your gun and shout “Put your ****ing hands up” ?
