I've always been interested in conspiracy theories, but don't much believe in them.
When you refer to conspiracy theories that have turned out to be true, which ones do you have in mind?

You just went off the rails again, what happened? Can't even tell if that was an attempt at an insult or the translator went haywire.

I don't have computer models. I like the University of Alabama, Huntsville's lower troposphere data which is not contaminated by problems on the ground level. And put together by a climate scientist who is not trying to push an agenda.

Those who conspired to kill Abraham Lincoln. Members of the Roman Senate conspired to kill Cesar. I could go on and on. However, when you don't have all the proof, for example the killing of John Kennedy, well its just a theory. If proof ever comes to light, well then......

Illusory Pattern Perception

This phenomenon, called illusory pattern perception, they write, is what drives people who believe in conspiracy theories, like climate change deniers, 9/11 truthers, and “Pizzagate” believers.

The study is especially timely; recent polls suggest that nearly 50 percent of ordinary, non-pathological Americans believe in at least one conspiracy theory.

Do you have IPP?
Social media is to illusory pattern perception sufferers like booze was to the Indians. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't conspiring against us.

Russians & Trump are aware of this, and know propaganda works particularly well on many right-wing Americans. If you look around, there are people repeating all kinds of absurd claims aka conspiracies. Its hard to watch. I see some people on FB posting 5-20 pieces of fake news every day.

When a person with good perception can connect too many dots and it adds up many think it is a conspiracy theory. Fact is some people have better intuition than others and have a higher insight in what is happening. Many miss it. Many do not.

If the situation starts to look real because of too much evidence then we can balance it one way or the other with an opened mind.

Now , as a Christian I believe in the last days there were be more natural disasters , not because of climate change but because it is written to take place . We can't control weather. Many think they can . That fake conspiracy theory of Trump being controlled by Russia was preposterous. The left believed it for two years with fake news eating it up . And now we have documented proof it was a set up to remove Trump or get the haters not to trust Trump and create the biggest conspiracy theory with no actual proof , just conjecture.

We have a mind to decipher what is real and what isn't.. many refuse to believe the truth and eat up that which is innuendo, speculation , and statements that are completely false. The gullible don't look for facts. They look with a mind filled with bias to accept the unreal with no facts.
