Any Klobuchar trying to unite the country ? Many conservatives rejoiced in rare agreement with the prominent Democrat.

The failed democrat Presidential candidate seems to have a touch of Joe Biden speaking and writing virus !!!

Gets mocked for her efforts !!! You go girl !!!

Klobuchar mocked for tweet inadvertently arguing Trump should fill SCOTUS vacancy

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/klo...scotus-vacancy

However, while trying to make the argument that Americans should weigh in on the judicial nominee with their votes for president, Klobuchar botched the execution in a Twitter post.

"The people pick the President; the President nominates the Justice. That is how it works," Klobuchar wrote.

So, you are suggesting she meant to say something different?

Edit: Oh, I see. FOX omitted out the first part where she says "people are voting right now to pick our president and that president should pick the justice".

Classic FOX.

Is she really saying that Trump should select the nominee, or was she in La-la land, and screwed up? She may secretly hope Trump picks the nominee. Not all dems want to see Biden screw up the nation.

Amy Klobuchar... partly responsible for Floyd's death in not holding Chauvin's feet to the fire on prior misconduct.

May 2020 - George Floyd's death returns spotlight to Sen. Amy Klobuchar prosecutor past

The Floyd case has put the national spotlight back on Klobuchar’s days as a prosecutor, particularly as it became clear Derek Chauvin, the officer involved in Floyd’s death, was involved in the death of another citizen while Klobuchar was prosecutor. Chauvin was one of six officers who fired on and killed Wayne Reyes in 2006 after Reyes reportedly aimed a shotgun at police after stabbing his friend and girlfriend. While the death happened during Klobuchar’s tenure at the helm of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, the case did not go to a grand jury until after she left the office and became a senator.

Klobuchar did not criminally charge other police involved in the more than two dozen officer-involved fatalities that occurred during her time as prosecutor. She left those decisions to a grand jury, a practice that was common at the time.

She is Ellison/Antifa approved...

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who was a lawyer and state legislator when Klobuchar held the prosecutor’s post, also defended Klobuchar’s record.

“The general and overall tone was that the office dealt fairly with criminal defendants within the law,†he said. “Now were there larger social movements that were of a concern? Yes. But they weren’t her fault.â€

That would be the second part, her follow up later on.

Maybe you should have read the article instead of just the headline.

Then maybe next time ask if something was included in the article, instead of thoughtlessly stating that it wasn't included.

Obviously the article focused on the one part as if that was the only thing she said. Its typical of them, so no big surprise, and of course this whole thread is built on pretending the second part does not exist.
