Theory #1
Because of Covid, many Americans are thinking domestic issues primarily. I assume immigration has basically halted and foreign policy has been fairly quiet this year.


Theory #2
The two candidates are obviously very different on the matter. Maybe it is almost like a "what is the point, we know where they stand".

The second debate is being moderated by someone from CSPAN. Maybe he will focus his questions more around foreign policy. I think it will be great if he does that.
