That doesn't even make sense. More tools for police to respond with.... but giving them less money to buy the new stuff and train on it.

Mkay.

Just because you say it "over and over... and over" doesn't make it true. People don't get to make up new definitions for words just because it serves their nefarious purpose.

Agree 100%.
We all know what "defund" means. Social Justice Warriors are trying to reinterpret the ignorant slogan in an attempt to gain wider acceptance for this really bad idea.

If you get mugged, call a Social Worker. I prefer a cop.

I looked at it. How utterly stupid must one be to follow a movement that cannot even sloganeer their message properly? What do you think people will think "defund the police" means? Do you think its smart to have slogan where you have to walk it back for half an hour? I also don't believe it. I think they meant it an now people are trying to walk it back.

How about "defund the fire department" ? "Oh we mean better having better wiring , alarms and fire suppression systems that will lead to..." or how about "rape less" or "kick grandma down the stoop not as much"?

That's all good right?

It would also make a little sense to budget whatever new metal health first responder you have planned and see if it actually works before "reallocating"

Lastly , to support your movement, try to use examples that do not include people violently resisting arrest . The best you had was recently was George Floyd where even that is not what was portrayed. He was already complaining about breathing from all the dope he was on. Now maybe if they could have seen it was a substance problem and not knelt on his neck , but good luck finding anyone that wants to deal with this crap now.

If you actually cared you would convince people not to resist arrest and funnel all those donations to BLM to defense attorneys. That how I know 100% its full of complete crap.

"Beating the snot out of liberals"

Does not mean assaulting liberals , its giving them remedies for their cold symptoms. What were you thinking..?

Well, thanks to all statists (cons and libs, Ds and Rs) you aren't allowed to defend your life or property. You have to call daddy and have him take care of it or else you'll be caged.

And how do you think that will go?

The two most dangerous things that law enforcement officers do is 1) DOMESTIC VIOLENCE calls, what are social workers going to do when bullets go flying?

And 2) traffic stops where cops are most vulnerable. Who the hell is going to do that, Good Humor drivers?????

Toss in serving warrants, answering alarms, responding to shootings, etc Oh yeah, "reroute those tax dollars to fight crime in other ways," my A$$

Do you understand that a "non-violent" situation has the tendency to escalate to a violent one in one second?

What is a "non-violent situation?" What does it look like? Can you give an example?
