I think you were part right and I was part right. They do have more extreme measures for certain homes and certain people and measures that are also extreme, but less so for all 18-22 year olds.

I’ve heard that the enforcement of this is heavy handed. They aren’t being lax at all.

That's exactly what I was talking about. These young adults will get disenfranchised by liberal politics, and vote for conservatives, like Trump. The very vote the liberal politicians want to thwart. Hopefully in person and not by mail, so no one can forge or throw away (a.k.a. "lose") their ballots.

Excellent post.

Give the government an inch and they will take a mile, every darn time.
Everyone who predicted that the restrictions would get worse and not better was completely right.

And all so the government can keep us “safe.”

Remember, quarantine laws are to keep *sick* people inside.

This order is the direct result of irresponsible behavior from those in this age cohort.

Should have never re-opened for in-person classes.

"Irresponsible"? Please! It's a glorified flu virus, hyped up for all the wrong reasons. If they can handle Corona in bottles, they can handle Corona in the air.

Nobody needs government tyranny on tax-paying, law-abiding citizens, while looters that are a drain on society are getting full political support.

It’s an extreme order which is the direct result of a very controlling city council. Cases rose when college started but hospitalizations didn’t. The order does not just impact college students, it impacts anyone between the ages of 18 and 22 who lives in the county.

If that's what the people of Boulder want, then who are we to tell them they can't do it?

It might not be what the people of some place in Alabama want, but if that's what the citizens voted for, it's up to them. MYOB!

Yep: that's the primary reason BLM has gone so mainstream this year. It's the only acceptable way young people are allowed to gather in groups. Just "hanging out" with friends is forbidden by the government (literally where I live, you still can't legally meet with people outside your household) while protesting and rioting is endorsed.
