I keep waiting for the leftists who accuse Trump of being a racist to provide an example. Even just one example will do. Yet they never do. (And no, DS, the U.S. Capitol Building is not a race, so I don't know what the events of January 6th have to do with racism.)

Look at the border pictures.

Why are all those brown, black, and yellow folks trying to get into a "racist America" anyway they can??

You know you can count for yourself the diasporas represented in the US vs Canada. There is certifiably more represented in the US. Period.

I ask you: how would you define the ethnic and racial makeup of the US vs Canada if you seriously think Canada is more diverse? (It isn’t. At all.)
But as shown by the Pew Research polls; Americans themselves do not think they are more diverse than others nor does the research by a variety of researchers show the U.S. as being more diverse.

You don't like facts and are unable to counter with anything other than constantly repeating only your opinion backed by a condescending tone.

Perhaps you should just put more of us on ignore?

Whether it's Saudi Arabia or Nigeria or Iran or Japan or China or Pakistan....

Countries which are first of all, nonwhite/non-European and secondly, from traditions different from those birthed by western civilization, tend to be very racist.

An observation I've made is that nonwhites from different countries are quite racist to each other, and that has absolutely no involvement with the historic black-white race relations of the United States.

Any foreigner who thinks the U.S. is racist is technically correct in that yes, racism does exist in the U.S., but they would be hard-pressed to find a country which has made similar efforts to correct past race-related sins the way the U.S. has.

Are you claiming it is not possible for white people to be victims of racism?

haveitup seems to believe diversity is dividing a bunch of people into skin color categories.

Diversity is speaking different languages, practicing diverse religions, having different cultures.

The US outside some major big diverse cities is mind blowing homogenous.

In Africa you drive an hour and go from a tribal region to a muslim region. There are areas inside provinces of African countries where a territory is christian, the other one is muslim, the other one is tribal, add to that thousands of languages!!

In the USA you can drive for weeks and see nothing but Americans and hear nothing but English.

Maybe, but it doesn’t mean Biden isn’t racist.

For the record, Thomas Edison arguably “invented” film as well…

I am supposedly chauvinist for simply expressing that there is a good deal of art and culture outside of the US.

As for media and film, no one is doubting the US dominance, however it's worth noting the contributions from other nations.

For instance David Horsley played an important role in the early developing of Hollywood, whilst a lot of Hollywood blockbusters are actually filmed outside the US.

Film industry - Wikipedia

Certain famous US film directors actually liked shooting their films in the UK, including a then young Director called George Lucas who in the 1970's wanted to make some space film called Star Wars at Elstree Studios in London. Lucas later went on to write a film called 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', with his friend Stephen Spielberg directing, and again it was filmed in the UK, as were the next two films in the series. Another director who filmed most of his work in the UK was the late great Stanley Kubrick who lived near Elstree.

Harrison Ford has been in the UK recently filming Indiana Jones VI.

Filming included scenes at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland, whilst nearby Alnwick Castle, which was Hogworts in the Harry Potter films, is being used in the new Dungeons and Dragons film.

Meanwhile Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg have recently been to England, where a miniseries based on the book Masters of the Air is currently being filmed.

Masters of the Air is an upcoming war drama miniseries based on the actions of the Eighth Air Force of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. It is being produced by Playtone, which also made its precursors Band of Brothers and The Pacific.
