Mitch made sure in 2016 a scotus wasn't picked because it was an election year & republicans had the majority.
Watch how they flip out when the 'other side' gets the opportunity. hypocrites
The ACA likely is a goner because it never should have bene allowed in the first place....they had to lie and say it was just a tax in order to justify it.
That said, the rest is just ridiculous fearmongering.
I could see limits to abortion, which would upset the crowd that wants to see babies killed in the last trimester, but gay marriage isn't going anywhere.
I don’t think gay marriage is a big issue with most people. What they do with their lives isn’t my business nor should it be. If they want to get married, have at it.
Democrats and especially Senate Democrats will be walking on egg shells with their Catholic supporters/voters, by not confirming Barrett. Be very very careful.

I completely agree, but the Supreme Court with a 6-3 split republican vs. democrats doesn't mirror the population of the US, which is leaning liberal.
And this new justice has repeatedly said she believes marriage is between one man and one woman, and also says she believes the Bible takes precedence over the constitution.
So while the country as a whole supports gay marriage, it's likely the most powerful court in the land won't.
Were you around for the Nixon-Kennedy election? It's exactly the same disingenuous insinuation used against Kennedy: Will his allegiance be to the Church or the Nation?

Roberts isn't a conservative. Gorsuch also made a decision recently that favored liberalism.
You didn't answer my question about Ginsburg. Do you think her adherence to the Talmud was a problem, or not?

No.
But I do know that Kennedy's catholicism was used against him; that was more than 50 years ago, and a lot has changed.
