I expect state laws concerning licensing and regulations re abortion providers, like the Texas law, could be upheld instead of rejected by 5-4 votes. I'd expect citizenship question on the census would have been approved by a 5-4 vote rather than rejected by a 5-4 vote.

Given that Roberts despises Trump and is unpredictable, and Ginsburg always voted liberal, Barrett could change many future rulings. Who knows though ? She might become one of the supposed conservative or non-activist judges who turns out not as expected.

Well, I just hope that CNN's sources are wrong (it certainly wouldn't be the first time!) or it would be another Trump decision that has me moving back to a "right in the middle" moderate -- dammit.

(I was never a Trump fan, anyway, but until the past seven days, I was considering voting for him rather than risk having Biden/Harris in the White House. Now, I'm back to looking at other candidates. I repeat -- Dammit.)

I just hope that the Senate rejects her if she IS the nominee.
