Biden had his fare share of arguing. The democrats originally set up the idea that the election would be rigged....read back a few weeks about voting by mail.
BIden also lied numerous times this evening. Yes controlled burns DO HELP....being in the PNW you would know this.
Maybe your the one that doesn't understand what Trump means by forest management. They don't want controlled burns they want to use this as an excuse to log more forests. When it's been proven that the fires that spread the most happen in newer planted forest rather than older forests.
You could tell from his answers. Too well rehearsed.
No I think he was given good practice questions. Trump was clearly not ready and just wanted to talk insults and not the real answers. He was talking in bulletpoints if he actually replied to the question.
As others point out the news headlines will be, "Trump didn't condemn white supremacists."
President Trump has in fact condemned white supremacists in the past, and quite explicitly so.
This was his statement three years ago after the Charlottesville violence:
Quote:
As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America.
And as I have said many times before: No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God. We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry, and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.
Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.
So he didn't do it explicitly in this debate, who cares.
What I do care about is that Biden absolutely ignored Chris's question about BLM, and misrepresented who was causing the violence.
I didn't like the constant interruptions by both Biden and Trump. This was unlike any other debate I have seen over many years. Pres. Trump started out kind of shaky but finished strong and won the debate. Trump was much more direct in answering the questions. The way I see it is this, a vote for Pres. Trump and maybe we maintain whatever Republic we have left. A vote for any Democrat is a vote for communism.
I knew I was going to vote for anyone who opposed Trump since 3 years ago.
But I must say, I thought Biden would show up as a doddering old man who would barely be able to put a few sentences together.
I was shocked. Although I've known I would vote for Biden, I didn't imagine he'd actually WIN this debate tonight.
Anyone else surprised that Biden brought his A game tonight? So pleasantly surprised.
I agree, it was his A game. That's a big problem for him.
