details emerging from the cop who shot Jacob Blake. I'm honestly surprised CNN had the article. They didn't attach the video of the interview, if there is any.

Police Officer Rusten Sheskey has told investigators that it wasn't just his life he was defending when he fired his weapon seven times at Jacob Blake last month in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He said he used deadly force during the chaotic encounter because he was afraid Blake, while attempting to flee the scene, was trying to kidnap a child in the backseat of the vehicle.
"He's got my kid. He's got my keys," Sheskey heard a woman say, according to attorney Brendan Matthews, who is representing the officer. If Sheskey had allowed Blake to drive away and something happened to the child "the question would have been 'why didn't you do something?'" Matthews said.

The attorney's comments to CNN come as authorities in Wisconsin announced this week that the results of an investigation by the state Department of Justice would soon be turned over to a retired police chief serving as an independent consultant for his review. The consultant is in turn expected to forward the case to local prosecutors along with an analysis intended to help determine whether criminal charges against Sheskey are warranted.
it was the usual type of domestic dispute that gets more than a few ex-boyfriends shot by the cops each year (but when they are white, nobody cares)
---
a typical domestic disturbance call with a separated father and mother disputing over who gets the kids and the car, and the participants get out of control.
We are going to lose all our good cops because of the distrust and disrespect for cops every time something happens. What we are going to end up with are faceless, military like troops in our streets enforcing the law and there will be zero recourse for their actions.

A case I read where a person did exactly as Blake did - walking towards his car with his kids inside and disobeying the police’s orders at gunpoint.
The man shot both of his kids dead before the police could fire a shot.

I have been saying this from the very beginning. They simply could not let that man, who had already displayed violence and was angry at the mother, take off with those children in the car.

Was this woman the same who had called the cops a few months before?
Were all 3 of the kids hers?
Has she testified to the authorities, and what has that testimony been? ie - did she say what is claimed? There's certainly a woman in thee video shouting something.
What has she said about the shooting?

You are correct !!!
Its already starting to happen in Seattle WA by hiring a pimp/felon to reform the police dept.

People are loosing respect because of bad apples keep doing their thing and NOBODY is stopping it. I've see arrests without merit. There are some great LEOS out there, I support them, but seen some mess too, and we should not have that in LAW enforcement. Time to clean up house!!
