In some aspects, China is more socially conservative than the US. Many things are not publicly allowed but you can do that in private.
In China, it is also illegal for adults to abandon their elderly parents, if they need help.
It is hard to say whether it is good or bad. Just different.
I came from communist/socialist country, so i'm going to assume you are willfully ignorant of the dangers of that governmental style. The united states is the land of the free forever and into perpetuity.
China is not communist at all. Most companies are privately owned.
The richest people (Jack Ma etc.) are in private sectors.
You can say it is an authoritarian society, which is true.
But most developing countries (including contemporary Russia) are like that, for whatever reason.
Keep telling yourself that, not going to make it true.
I'm gay and if I were in China, they would throw me in a concentration camp. Same with Christians. Your allegiance is to the CCP in China, not anything else.
I’ve never understood why democrats don’t call out China and many muslim countries for their abuse and oppression of gays.

China builds Ports, toll roads and toll bridges for a country, China also tells those countries that they must hire Chinese workers and companies. And then when the country can not pay the principle and interest, China gains control of the port and everything built on the property belonging to the port. same for the bridges and roads. Its kind of like the Panama Canal was for us.
