Are you selling willful ignorance? If so, buyers beware as, "Willful ignorance is blissful only in the mind of a remarkable fool". I think Trump loyalists have probably had enough of being made fools, for this day.

The only thing propping Trump up in the polls is the mistaken belief that he can handle the economy better than his opponent. He's a failed businessman who cannot handle his own finances, who incurs millions in losses, has millions in load payments looming over the next few years, who writes off the very food he eats...you really want that man responsible for the U.S. economy?

Eight years to get to 5% UE is nothing to brag about.

What you are saying is whether or not has made a profit from his business dealings is not relevant to you.

Obviously the "average Joes" on this board do not understand paper losses, write offs, and depreciation tax shelters.

It's not that difficult to develop/own commercial real estate and technically show a loss that shelters large gains.

Is it news that rich people hire the best tax accountants to utilize the tax code to the best of their advantage?
Right and anyone who knows anything about taxes knows this.

The fact that NYT failed to note this and explain it makes virtually everything else they wrote suspect in my book.
