The die hards don't care how many Republican's or former cabinet members switch sides. Trump can shoot someone on 5th avenue or kill tens of thousands lying and spinning a message vs doing something to contain this virus and get away with it. They'll stand there and sign waivers to attend his mask less rallies. How do you talk to people that ignorant? Well you can't. They learn the hard way or not at all.
I've never seen so many defections of insiders switching parties. Wikipedia has an interesting list.
Here's another terrifying thought. Trump is trying to de-legitimize this election so he can take the vote away from the American people and get it into Congress. He has a 26 vote to 23 vote advantage in Congress.
Fareed Zakaria had an interesting show about this concept on Sunday. If Trump manages to sew doubt in the legitimacy of the election and throw chaos with law suits questioning the validity of the election, then state legislators send electors to Congress to vote. Congress has the power to break an election deadlock if those contested votes are eliminated and neither candidate gets to the 270 electoral votes needed to win. There are 8 Republican legislators in 9 swing states that could vote for Trump in Congress. This is a disturbing thought and it doesn't matter how many Republican's defect if Trump pulls this off. It just becomes noise and we the people lose again like we did in 2016 when millions of votes meant nothing. The electoral college is a corruptible system, and Trump is a master at corruption.
No surprise. the Bushes will vote for Biden too along with Ridge.. anti-Trumpers.. they don't like Trump because Trump is not a globalist and they see Trump rocking the boat with China. We patriots know that the elitists who ran this country into the ground for the blue collar and later the white collar worker with cheap labor know they are now finally supported by this president and are the ruling Bushes and Clintons are angry. The Bushes and Clintons are all globalists and bought off . Biden is there only hope to get their agenda of globalism and marxism taking over.. The ruling class never gives a damn about the small citizens and lets them have a morsel or two from the government to keep them chained to the government .
I am beginning to think that any establishment politician (R or D) don't want a non-politician in a position of power.

They didn't even seem to remember he was once governor of Pennsylvania.
