Any culture which rejects modesty embraces debasement, debauchery, "pornification," idolatry, hypersexualization.... All of which drives out order and dignity from the culture.

The ancient Greeks competed in sports buck naked and adored their star athletes to an extent rarely matched today. They also threw some absolutely rockin' parties, and they weren't exactly prudes about sexuality.

I already explained why- a lack of any compulsion to cover up the body leads to all the adverse effects I described.

That's a weird era for you to bring up. Considering who it was who took upon themselves to clean up the decadence, ban jazz from the airwaves and decadent art from being displayed. Same guys who praised wholesomeness, patriotism, order and proper subservience to the authorities - as well as the necessity of expansion eastwards.

Feeling a little raw about your own age maybe? It's about mid-life crisis time. It is common for those in that stage of life to take the side of younger more naive generations in an attempt to stay relevant and hang on to youth. It's a losing battle though, you will never be cool again, fellow Gen Xer.
I personally don't have a problem with the young and beautiful females wearing revealing clothing. As long as they are other wise respectful and nice and gracious with the attention they get wanted or unwanted. I don't see any reason to cover up what is aesthetic and beautiful. The problem is the intentionally annoying, ugly, fat, dumb and loud (and mostly foreign, illegal).

It sure sounds like the historical lesson you're taking away here is that non-mainstream culture needs to self-censor, or the mainstream will vote for a Hitler type to enforce censorship.
Y'know, I have a thought: How about recognizing the signs and then - this is crazy - not voting for the Hitler type? Obviously, this comes with the drawback of making Joe Q. Random voter responsible for his vote, which is never popular.

Women (who are not prostitutes) should not be 'revealing' their bodies to anyone other than their husbands in private.

Western civilization operated according to this logic all the way from antiquity up until about 6 or 7 decades ago.
