The CDC has released a set of guidelines for Thanksgiving. According to them you it’s not really safe to meet with people outside of your immediate household, drink alcohol, visit pumpkin patches, or even shop at the store for groceries in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. They advise having dinner with people virtually, watching sports on TV and shopping online.
I'm going to visit my parents in the L.A. area but I'm driving (8 hour drive) and not flying. First time I've visited since February and normally, I go 4-6 times a year.
Thanksgiving will likely be just me and my mom, since my siblings' kids will all be just getting home from college and they won't be traveling.
I'll leave the overwrought melodrama to MissTerri.
If you don’t live in the same household, The CDC will deem your gathering high risk. Just sayin.
