Obama stated that his biggest concern and problem was North Korea when he sat down with Trump after he won and we very close to war with them. Now that Trump has built a personal relationship in Kim Jung Un, and has calmed down issues with North Korea and has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Price for the 'Trump Doctrine', how will Biden address the issue? Will he make it better or worse?
Biden would handle North Korea by going back to his quarters in the White House for a nap.
What would his handlers do? Nothing, exactly what they did for 8 years under Obama. During Obama’s watch, the North Koreans sunk the Cheonan and killed 46 South Korean sailors. What did Obama do? Absolutely nothing.
I mean IDK how love letters to Kim are working when NK is still doing what it wants and only spoke with trump to legitimize their place on the world stage.
Maybe he should make another movie trailer.
Maybe they are, but why should that be our problem? Seems to me that is a UN problem.
No presidency can “handle” North Korea. No country on Earth can “handle” North Korea. And don’t give me that nonsense about China because the Chinese can’t handle them either.
The North Koreans do whatever they want to do, and because they sit on a powder keg, everyone just has to play along until whatever they’re doing is so intolerable that you’re willing to accept some form of Pyrrhic victory. And we’re nowhere near that point now and I doubt we’ll ever be in my lifetime.
There is only one way to deal with the North Koreans...wait them out until the regime hopefully collapses on itself one day. But that’s a long way away.
