P.S. I cringed when Beto attempted to speak Espanol, as well. Obvious pandering to the Latinos.
Pandering is a politician's stock in trade, e.g. Trump's claim that his favorite book is the Bible. You and I both know that's a steaming pile of hot garbage.

This is a tempest in a teapot.

Not to me it isn't. I don't want the Democrat nominee signaling he's "for the Muslims." The Democrat support "for the Muslims" (such as Omar and Tlaib) is coincident with an increase in antisemitism on the left. Nowhere more is the correlation stronger than between Farrakhan's Nation of Islam and hatred for the Jews.

No signaling special approval of Muslims from the presidential debate stage. POR FAVOR!

The amount of desperation and grasping for straws by the right for this is hilarious.

If the school is supported with taxpayer funding, they can opt to teach all religions or none. Take your choice.

That's out of left field. Such a pandering appropriating insult.

His coaches were like,..ok Joe,.somewhere in there we gotta get some Mulsim points.

" If you don't vote for me, You ain't Mulsim."
It was the perfect phrase for Trump's refusal to release his tax returns. The original phrase in Arabic is literally translated "When God wills it", but is more common as a colloquial meaning "It ain't gonna happen."

In other words, it was a nice way for Biden to call "bull****."

I remember Joe referring to God as " you know the thing".

I don't think Joe believes most of the stuff that comes out of his mouth. While at the same time wanting the people he is talking to, too believe it. While in the end all those words fall to the ground. Because the source is all in his own pandering mind and nothing beyond that.

It says of Samuel that his words did not fall to the ground.

Because Muslim citizens are somehow less important than Christian citizens?

No, because a presidential candidate shouldn't signal special approval for any religion. As I said, it would have been cringe-worthy if Trump said "praise Jesus" or some such thing.

Here's the thing, and you know it: Liberals are gung-ho on defending Muslims, increasingly tolerant of antisemitism, and have been outright ridiculing Christians. Stay tuned for the SCOTUS hearing; we're about to get an earful as to what Democrats think of Catholics.

So Biden's pandering and Trump's pandering are equivalent? Glad we agree.
