What would Trump's FBI director know. He was appointed by Trump after all.
Trump doesn't want to alienate any of his white base no matter how extreme so he isn't going to say anything.
However, I do think to be fair, Wallace should have asked the same type question to Biden regarding BLM. Force him to take a stand and either to support or denounce. See if he had the courage to do one or the other so we could could contrast him to Trump.
And yet he didn't. He didn't.
But of course he didn't, the media and the DNC have long been in collusion.
Yes, blanket coverage from the media, congressional hearings, etc. But an almost total media blackout on the BLM activist who drove her car into a group of Trump supporters.
I did to, till I saw an entire summer filled with nightly riots, arson, looting, attacks on motorists, murder of cops, and over 2 BILLION dollars in damage.
The bigger issue is that Trump was asked to denounce a group that is not a white supremacist group -- The Proud Boys.
Meet Erique Tario, the current leader of the Proud Boys, and the single biggest reason that Fake News media like CNN and MSNBC will not ever interview The Proud Boys. This is the guy they'd be interviewing. The guy is pretty obviously more black than white, and his name is obviously Hispanic. That's strike one against them for being a bunch of white supremacists.
Go to the Proud Boys website and you will find zero racist values and plenty of anti-racist ones. That's strike two.
While browsing their website, you will find a Justice for Liberty link. Liberty Kinsman is the mixed race daughter of John Kinsman, who is in prison for fighting in New York City when their group was attacked by Antifa. None of the people attacking the Proud Boys were ever found or sentenced, but the Proud Boys got the book thrown at them. Kinsman quite clearly broke one of the cardinal rules of white supremacy. He married somebody of another race. Yet the Proud Boys are so strong in their support for Kinsman that his family's fundraiser is right there on the front page of the Proud Boys website. That's strike three.
Proud Boys found Gavin McInnes is also in clear violation of the white supremacist rule against race-mixing. He's married to a Native American -- Emily Jendrisak, the daughter of Native American activist Christine Whiterabbit Jendrisak. That's strike four.
We could go on and on forever. The best evidence that anyone has that The Proud Boys are a white supremacist group is that some of them showed up to Charlottesville with some racist goals and ideas, and they were immediately kicked out of the Proud Boys. If that's all it takes then Bernie Sanders and all of his supporters all just assassins seeking to murder people holding political office, based on the actions of James Hodgkinson shooting Senator Steve Scalise and intending to shoot many others.
The reason that the Proud Boys get demonized is because the Left desperately needs a boogieman to point to and say, "Sure BLM and Antifa are bad, but look at the people on your side!!" The KKK and other legitimately racist groups just weren't cutting it. They're far too small and irrelevant. The Proud Boys are a lot more numerous. They are certainly willing and even enthusiastic about engaging in violence, but only when the Alt-Left extremists attack them first. So Antifa and BLM use the same stunt to smear them that they do to smear the police:
Get in the cop's face, screaming and yelling.
Back up a step while the ten people behind you start throwing rocks and bricks at them.
As soon as the policeman starts to react, have your camera guy press record right then.
When the cop fights back, scream long and loud about how he's attacking for no reason.
Post your clipped and wildly out of context video clip to social media and wait for the outrage to come pouring in.

Right. Biden has denounced all violence and vandalism from all groups over and over (starting from 1st week of unrest), while Trump tells right-wing extremists to stand by. I am sure Trump campaign loves to associate the rioters and vandals with "left wing", but for the most part they are just bored & unemployed young people who think rioting is fun. They are not members of anything or represent anyone, while the Proud Boys are a highly organized group aka organization, with official memberships, leadership structure, rules (like no female members and no masturbating), etc and they represent right wing politics.

He was probably shocked at why he’s being asked that when all of the violence and hate we’ve seen over the last few months has been coming from the left.

You and Joe Biden think that all of the billions of dollars of damage, people that have been murdered, people that have been assaulted and injured, businesses destroyed, cops assassinated, etc. is all something that happened purely by coincidence. Rioter #1 through #1000 just accidentally showed up at the same place at the same time. No organizing whatsoever was done. It's purely coincidental that they're screaming "Black Lives Matter!!" They're also screaming it in unison. They're screaming "ACAB!! All Cops Are Bastards!!" in unison. They're screaming, "Pigs in a blanket! Fry em like bacon!" in unison. It's almost like it was rehearsed ... but it all happened without any planning or organizing whatsoever. And several NGO's have paid bail for the criminal rioters who couldn't afford bail just coincidentally pay their bail for them -- specifically the BLM rioters and nobody else. All of this happened by accident, coincidence and with no planning nor organizing whatsoever. Do you think anyone buys that load of crap??
Proud Boys aren't white supremacists and they aren't destroying America, terrorizing everyone and murdering people. Black Lives Matter and Antifa -- who are in fact very real and very organized -- are the ones doing exactly that.
