The big news in the media today is this contrived outrage that Trump would not "denounce white supremacists" and said that left wing radicals are the real problem.
I'm not a Trump fan and I'm not voting for him but he was exactly right!
It feels like the left wing media and the dems are trying to gaslight people!
It isn't white supremacists who have been rioting and burning cities for months on end.
It isn't white supremacists who try to blind police with lasers or lock them in buildings and try to set the building on fire.
It isn't white supremacists that small businesses and shop owners need to worry about during protests that turn violent.
It isn't white supremacists who set up autonomous zones in major cities, block traffic, assault people and harrass outdoor diners trying to enjoy a meal.
It isn't white supremacists who gather outside a hospital when cops were shot in cold blood and chant they hope that they die in front of their family and friends.
It's amazing to me that Chris Wallace even ASKED this question to Trump and that the mainstream media is outraged because he answered it truthfully! The question SHOULD have been directed AT BIDEN and asked if HE denounced left wing radical violence which is FAR more pervasive and dangerous.
I know. Wallace was hitting Trump with the Proud Boys and demanding that he denounce them but he gave Joe a pass when he wouldn't even admit that antifa is a real thing that is tearing apart and burning America.
The Proud boys have zero impact on anything but antifa which is actually the right hand of the Democrats is wielding a hammer that is whacking away at the foundations of America.
Which is a bigger threat?
Biden should have been asked if he denounced Left wing violence which is far more of a problem then any Right wing group playing at being militia Patriots.
After the summer we have had in this country with people killed by left wing radicals and millions of dollars in damages, the amount of gaslighting to pretend that white supremacists are some big problem, while we IGNORE what is right in front of our faces is ridiculous!!
These are the same hypocrites who denounce people for saying "all lives matter" because it negates the immediate threat!!
The argument goes that yes we all know all lives matter but black lives are in more danger right now.
Well, that thought process goes both ways!
We can also say:
"yes we denounce white supremacy but left wing radicals and hate groups are a far bigger problem and danger right now"
you would think though that someone would have told trump how to answer this question...especially with everything else he has said and done over the last few years. It's a softball question where all he has to do is denounce white supremacy clearly and vociferously. He couldn't even do that and immediately deflected to saying the other side is the real bad guys while effectively giving a pass to the white supremacy.
There is a Nazi/KKK shortage. No other villain has such a unifying effect. This lesson goes as far back as Indiana Jones. The sequel demonstrated the vital resource of a functional villain. The KKK is such a pathetic villain. They lynched around 5000 people, and some of them were not even black. Lots of Italians were also lynched in New Orleans. They are at an inconsequential scale and it was a century ago.
