The debates are not supposed to be the freak show rally that Trump performs best at and seemingly wants them to be.

"Shut up, man".

LOL. It's tough to rewrite history when there is a full tape out there showing Trump interrupting Biden approx. 128 times, 10 times on one question alone.

And so here we are, with mute buttons to shut Trump up and a moderator who supposedly is a former Biden intern. Sucks to be Trump, being forced to live with the consequences of his actions, huh? Or a MAGA.

One could say something similar about Susan Page who is the moderator of the VP debate. She hosted an event to honor a member of Pence's staff in 2018.

Like I've said in other threads conservatives don't have balls and don't stick up for themselves. At the federal level the Republicans really aren't conservatives they're just neocons and support the progressive globalist agenda. half of them probably don't even care if Trump loses because they see him as a loose cannon to their agenda.

conservatives should get used to the fact that the deck will always be stacked against them unless they actually start to fight back. If you're tired of your state legislature for example Wisconsin's never having the balls to stick up for themselves you need to contact them.

Want a different moderator do something about it.

Shut it down. Trump is already whining about any changes, right here we're seeing his supporters whining about changes. Shut it down. Biden has already proven he doesn't need earpieces, Super Soldier Serum or a start time earlier than 9:00pm to put in an appearance, so that's already settled. He also hasn't seemed to lose any votes over this, unlike Trump, so why bother. If a candidate who is behind can't modify his behavior in order to have an opportunity to state a case for his re-election, don't expect anyone to lose any sleep over it. Shut it down.

Can you imagine the outrage if only conservative moderators were employed? Why is this allowed to happen?

"I came to school in Washington, D.C., went to American University and had a couple of internships. I worked for Joe Biden, Senator from Delaware at the time, as an intern, so I had my first chance to really see politics up close in Washington, D.C."

After that, Scully worked for Senator Kennedy in his 1980 campaign.

Because both campaigns signed off on it. If there had been any legitimate friction, they would have found someone else.

What you are actually saying is that a pro-Trump moderator couldn't be trusted to do an impartial job.

Yup. The Trump team signed off on this. They felt it was fair. Trump just ignored wallace at will. It was like the kid high on adderall that he crushed and snorted to be on the ball for the family dinner starts talking.

Bottom line though I think much like you do, they agreed to this saying it sounded fair. lets see what happens.

Best thing to do is for the Trump folks to not even bother watching. It's in the cards Trump loses #2.

I agree with this. Biden doesn't need these debates. Trump, the underdog, does. But Trump has demonstrated that he will not follow the debate format, so, so be it.

Instead of the committee having to jump through hoops trying to figure out obedience school tactics in an attempt to force Trump to behave (this is an adult man in age only, not mentality) just make it easy on everyone and don't do any more of them. Viewership tends to fall off big time between the first and the second debate anyway, so who cares?

Trump will care, because again, he needs these debates, but he can just suffer the consequences of his own actions for once. It will be good for him.
