It’s hard to feel bad for DT. After all the crazy stuff he has said, now he is holed up in WR, I guess it’s quiet or a chance for some normalcy

True enough that Trump and Melania decided to quarantine until they received the results after being tested for covid. That was later in the day after Trump returned from the fund raiser at his New Jersey golf club that featured photo ops with him.
The bottom line is that the test results came thru when Marine One was getting ready to leave that morning for New Jersey. Staff members who had spent a lot of time around Hicks were "pulled" presumably either from the chopter itself or perhaps less dramatically from the staff to-go list. Mysteriously that did not include Trump himself. Off he went for the day.
Are you seriously going to maintain that Mark Meadows never told Trump he might well have a very serious disease or that Trump somehow "forgot" he'd been heavily closeted with Hope Hicks over the last few days for that debate prep? At some point, Trump needs to own the consequences of his actions.
Too soon to tell who might be positive now in New Jersey. Or on that helicopter. Don't Marines fly them?

My sympathy well has run low. I know that is wrong, as he is a human being, but it's amazing he didn't catch it before now given how hard he tried. I do feel bad for Melania and Barron.
Agreed he was warned just like everyone else was but ignored it so now he’s got it.
