Trump would’ve earned back a little respect if he had allowed this experience to humble him and acknowledge the virus is a real threat after all, but he struck out on that too.
Humility and narcissism are like oil and water. Never happen.

Maybe from you, from me he would have lost it. This virus is not a threat, and there is no reason to be 'humble about it." Trump + at least 10 other people (most old, some old and obese) got this virus and are not experiencing symptoms or are experiencing symptoms of a head cold.

He knows it’s real, the virus effects people differently, I only know of one who had to be hospitalized and is out now, several people my husband works with has had it and said it felt like a bad cold, never had to be hospitalized, some just had the sniffles. My niece has had it, and she just didn’t feel good, but never was bad enough to stay in bed. It’s not a automatic death sentence for everyone.
Apparently so is using poor judgement and ignoring CDC advice.
My reply strictly addressed the idea that obesity alone is not a risk factor. It is.

The doctors will not be moved. Dr. Conley will be available because he is the President's personal physician. Others will be available to consult.

If he were a liberal many of us would be lauding his bravery as an early medical research subject!
True.

Denying how many have died from COVID-19 does not help anything.

and of course he feels wonderful! He's on STERIODS! I felt wonderful two weeks ago when I was on a steroid for poison ivy--you can feel euphoric when you are on a steroid. Wait until it wears off.

He was NEVER close to being on a ventilator. That is last resort for someone who cannot breathe. He had a fever and slight trouble breathing. Let us hope he continues to get well. He may relapse slightly but the great meds they are giving him will keep in out of the woods, I hope!
Trump feels ready for the next debate, he says! But with any illness, he needs to see how he feels down the road. Go Trump!!!!!
