The fact that you are talking about "othering" as done by the left, but completely ignore the fact that Trump's entire campaign is, and always has been, built entirely around and always has been all about "othering," just demonstrates my statement of fact--Trump supporters are incapable of self-reflection. Thank you for illustrating that so succinctly.

Stop quoting half sentences. The entire media quoted a decontextualized phrase and spun a completely untrue narrative. They chose to isolate the phrase 'it is what it is' rather than run the headline "we are doing everything we can." They all behaved in lockstep. No agenda there....
Doing everything we can? Like showing up to the debate just a few days ago without a mask? Don't pretend this administration "did everything it could," because everyone can see how disingenuous that statement is. Until a mere two days ago, wearing a mask was cause for mockery by Trump and his cohorts. "Doing everything we can." Give me a break.

Someone should keep an eye out if a bunch of service trucks with "Vladmir's A #1 Cleaning" marked on the side show up in the next day or two.

There have been several Democrats tested positive and reported on...

The difference is one downplayed the pandemic and the other did not.

It wasn't long ago that Trump poked fun at Biden's wearing of masks.... so of course it is news when he himself contracts Covid-19. I really do hope everyone recovers fully. However, Karma's a b....

Anyone who flaunts social distancing and masking and, in fact, taunts it or celebrates being a rebel in this regard, deserves public schadenfreude and attention. Dem or Rep.

Anyone who gets the virus despite adhering to safe behaviors doesn't deserve ridicule.

Some move on with health issues that are of unknown duration and consequence(s) but hey, as long as they're not dead, eh?
