You have moved so far left you think people staying the same have moved right.
https://www.investors.com/politics/e...-extreme-left/

"...The Pew data, however, make it clear that the shift toward the extreme has happened among Democrats, not Republicans.

This can be seen in dramatic fashion when you look at where the center of each party was in 1994, and where it is today. Pew used a 10-item scale of political values to determine ideological purity among those who claim affiliation with the two parties. The results show that while the Republican center moved only slightly to the right over the past 23 years, the center of Democratic part shifted far to the left. (See the nearby chart.)..."

What you TDSers fail to understand is that Trump is not especially conservative. You mistake loud talking with extremist political positions. He is more pro gay marriage than Obama was in 2008. His border positions are consistent with Obama in 2008. His tax positions are probably to the left of the 1994 Contract with America. He is left of the Republican center on health care. His budget positions are definitely left of the Republican center. He is left of both George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. His trade positions really are more like the Democrats used to have.

I know. That sunk him. He's pretty sharp usually - he was the first guy to pick Trump.

I just don't understand why he doesn't wear a mask. He is high risk with his asthma and being obese. So sad.

Yes, I thought that too. The thing is that Christie would not be one to bow to direction from Trump (at least that was/has been my impression). I honestly think Trump would have been better served by a strong AG like Christie but his choice obviously went in another direction.

Everyone got tested before entering the White House. But the test has false negatives 3% of the time. Oops.

There were around 200 people attending the Rose Garden ceremony many hugging each other and in close proximity without masks. Christie hugging people and up close without a mask, already 9 infected it will be a miracle if this doesn't spread to many others.

Trump should throw Christie to the curb and I do not trust that fat goof.I thought he had as Christie was always a liability from the start.
