Presidents absolutely get the best care because they are the leader of our country and they don't have to pay anything for treatment. Meanwhile, Trump wants to take away the ACA which is a god send for over 23 million. Could this be a wake up call to him, probably not.
Republicans don’t labor under the misconception that low-income people are entitled to the same as wealthier people, and especially the President of the United States.
"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."
Look, the real truth is OK. He wasn't being sarcastic.
He truly pondered, as anyone grasping at any possibility to find solutions in a crisis would, "I wonder if we could...?" It's OK. Who, speaking on a topic they were an everyday Joe on, would feel comfortable looking to the experts assembled and ask "I wonder if we could...?" Not many. But sometimes, solutions come from such naive questions.
The real story - though it hasn't been repeated - was the other guy's report of how well disinfectants and UV light did in killing the virus in the lab. At that time, you had people scared to touch anything, keeping their groceries outside, wiping down boxes in panic that these might allow them to track Covid.
Why the media, and TDS sufferers, have focused on nothing but the "I wonder if..." is pretty clear. They want to "Get Trump!"
You won't see in 4 weeks - because you HAVEN'T seen in 4 years - anything that appears to give anything Trump even 51% support. They have baked it into their reason for existing.
Who knew giving people making under $400K the largest % tax cut, meaning 95% of Americans, and removing another ~10% from paying ANY income tax could be so horrible.
So, this afternoon, if you've been watching - the doctors didn't give the citizenry reassuring news that there probably wouldn't be a constitutional crisis of leadership or worst case death of a POTUS. No, they just provided more fodder for anti-Trump conspiracies and claims that have spiraled across the infosphere in order to GET TRUMP!
Asking if something is possible is not the same thing as recommending people do it.
I thought he was saying more along the lines that it was a shame it couldn't be done though. That still wouldn't be the same as encouraging people to do it.
when people like you and 90% of the press tell me what to think he said, I tend to go back and listen in the entirety.
That's true for people who DON'T use every excuse and lie they can find, as a reason for bashing and insulting Trump, no matter what damage their lies cause.
he's been telling people to drink bleach? Wow, where have I been?

People were discussing various ways of getting rid of Coronavirus or at least slowing it down. Somebody mentioned that wiping countertops, doorknobs etc. with bleach would mostly kill any coronavirus that was on them. Trump wondered out loud if there was any such chemical or medicine that could be taken internally, that would do the same thing. Fanatical Democrats immediately started howling that he had said we should drink bleach.
Bizarrely, a few exceptionally dumb people heard the news media saying that the President had recommended drinking bleach to stop coronavirus, so they tried it. Most got very sick (duh) and a few died. Naturally the Trump-hating press immediately blamed Trump instead of themselves.
Doesn't matter if you've been listening to Trump, you'll be fine. But hopefully you're not listening to the Trump-hating press, or fanatics like little odanny who try so hard to misquote him and announce obviously-wrong misinterpretations of what he said. That can get you dead, if you take their lies seriously. Fortunately, not many people listen to them any more.
