He has made many remarks similar. When he made the announcement he would name a black woman as his running mate. What has the color of her skin have to do with it? Because he is a racist looking for black votes. He and the Obama crew voted AGAINST school choice, which would have provided underprivileged children to choose a school where they could get a better education. Why? They want to keep power over the people and give them benefits, no solutions.
They want to keep as many votes from members of teacher's unions in their pocket as possible.
Any fool who pays school taxes knows what school choice means.
Show me where tax payer supported private religious school has to take anybody who shows up.
My comment was influenced by about 50 years in California, not by Texas.
People support school choice for various reasons, some which aren't influenced by religion.
I'm agnostic, so I'm not looking at it from a religious POV.
California used to require parents who wished to homeschool to jump through many hoops, and some felt that some of those hoops served no other purpose than to discourage successful navigation. Things have changed there. Now it is more like Texas in that regard.
