Well then they are not Republicans. Then they are just the same as Democrats.

It is the lifestyle the Democrat/Media Alliance wants to install more big Government control aka Marxism. All the while as the promote they "oppressed" groups. Blacks, Mexican Illegals, LGBT, etc. They want the Virus lock downs to be the new normal. If we get a Harris Presidency you will see a Virus National Emergency and a Man Made Climate Change National Emergency and Constitution killing EO EDICTS to implement both.

Attacks on the 2nd amendment, economy will crash even worse because of a nationwide shut down, bowing to China again, more bad trade deals, clamping down on free speech especially on college campuses and online, not holding big tech accountable for censorship, letting the floodgates of 3rd world invaders in. etc etc etc.

Conservatives always clamor to buy up weapons and ammunition when Democrats win. So go blow the dust off your stockpile of bullets from 1992 and 2008, left unused. They didn't come for your guns then. They aren't coming for your guns now. It is a Pavlovian response by Republicans. You'd think they'd learn by now.

And the economies under our previous Democratic presidents puts Trumps' to shame. Better stock market gains (15% per year for 8 years with Clinton, 12% per year for 8 years with Obama). Better GDP (3.88% quarterly average with Clinton, 2.2% quarterly average with Obama, ~0% with Trump). Obama added more jobs in three years than Trump has, even pre-coronavirus. 182,000 jobs were added per month during 3 years of Trump's administration. During 3 years of Obama's administration, we added 224,000 jobs per month. Job growth slowed under Trump. It did not accelerate.

The facts simply don't support the notion that Trump was better on jobs, stock market growth or GDP for America than a Democrat was. Just because Trump says it, and Fox News says it and City Data posters say it - doesn't make it true. Facts are facts. Trump's unemployment numbers were good. But that was merely a continuation of a good thing left to him by Obama. He didn't start messing that up until he started pushing buttons and pulling levers. He threw all the government controls into emergency mode to further increase the economy - larger deficit spending, tax cuts for the wealthy, pressuring the Fed to keep rates low - when we didn't need it. It was growing fine on its own. It was a healthy economy.

Then the s*** hits the fan and we are already 1 trillion in the hole every year due to Trump's deficit spending and we can't justify stimulus anymore. Much of those tax cuts to the wealthy went into stock buybacks and not into new hires and wage increases for the working class.

Sorry, I disagree with this. There is no place for emotion in law making and policies.

Also we will never see a Republican president in our lifetimes. We are headed to one party rule. Look at California and New York. One party rule is a disaster that will be coming to the whole country.
Paradoxically, there is more opposition to immigration when there is a Democratic president than a Republican president. And one-party rule is impossible because political parties aren't ideological, when they lose an election they merely shift their platform.

PS: This country is already ruined, and there ain't no fixing it.

Okay.

I have a different way of thinking.
You have one way of thinking.

Trump isn't solving the problems. Let's try Biden. If it is worse or not solved in 4 years, let's check out our options.
You'd think you could come up an actual differential in policy. As we can see, I brought up some of Biden's platform but the typical lazy Leftist cannot even lift a finger beyond cashing their da guberment checks. That is why they are dumb. They don't like to read books, journals or exercise their own thoughts. The most motivated of them can go "hey, hey, ho, ho, another cliche` isn't going to go" , ranting in the streets.

When da gubermnet creates market conditions , its not directly solving the problem. Instead of handing money over to a failed enterprise like Solyndra which was part of Biden's failed green central planning policy, one could simply pay for a specification. Instead of hiring a professional dance troupe , Biden would hire his doped up simpleton of a son and declare falling down a flight of stairs progressive choreography. His father has a marvelous bunker tippy toe tippy toe after all.

Da guberment could simply allow the market to compete to complete a specification. They could tax for externalities( oh but ya don't want to do that cause da banksters want limits that they can turn into fictitious capital with bidding wars for carbon credits with air being as much a cash cow as the bidding war for land and water. We can't make that into a revenue stream to untax labor and capital while driving the market to a solution) .

If its bad then simply make the industrialist cover the externality to represent the true cost.

But no, you want centralizing micro management where its da guberment that runs the economy. See you have a plan while market systems means da guberment has "no plan". Yep , you like pinkie commie plans while capitalism is the very definition of a lot less da guberment planning. That's the idea.

NOT an America I will stay in for long that's for sure. I am done with college in 18 months and would be applying for jobs overseas in Eastern Europe.

Have you travelled to Eastern Europe?

Do you have family in Eastern Europe?

Are you fluent in any Eastern European language?

Unemployment is high in Eastern Europe. What special skills do you have that would allow you to legally work in one of these countries?

Gun control trends strict throughout Eastern Europe.

Which Eastern European country grants free speech without exception?

Which countries don’t trade with China?

Income tax rates tend to be higher than in the US. Then there’s the VAT imposed in many Eastern European countries.
