Trump is not involved in negotiations.

Mnuchin is the point man.

Trump made it very clear he was In the “ get er dine” mode and substantially more supportive of more than the Senate majority was.

Unlike the past 2 Speakers of the House, Pelosi has done a better job of herding the cats. Seems to me one of the tactics she uses is packing bills with the wish list of representatives. She knows, the process will eliminate much of it.

I'm not sure they'll like the outcome when the dust settles.

The Republicans *should* win on stimulus round 2.

#1 - CARES isn't close to being spent.
#2 - continued additional unemployment benefits while not paying more to sit home
#3 - point out the TOTAL they've offered to the states
#4 - point out how the first $1,200 was used, and that it's hard/near-meaningless to stimulate a closed economy
House wanted another $600/ wk top off.

Senate offered $200.

Trump put forth $400.

For once he isn't wrong. Those states that Nancy wants to bail out should get money through other means rather than pork.

If he doesn't, no one does.

Now he’s just trying to lose the election, not to mention drive Wall Street into a ditch. Didja see what the Dow did after the announcement?

Ok, but try again when your yard is gravel.

And also when, if your kid doesn't mow the lawn and can't because it's gravel, they're unable to pay for their kid's chemo or pay their rent or eat.

That's more akin to the current situation.

How many made more by not working?

Does this include employees of companies who received full pay and benefits while not working because their employer received a PPP loan/ grant?
